Esper Whodunnit Detective Game - Terms and Conditions
The Promoter is: Esper.io, Inc., a Delaware corporation with principal place of business at 3600 136th Pl SE, Ste 210 Bellevue, WA 98006.
Eligibility:
Who can enter:This competition is open to United States based reseller account representatives who are at least 18 years of age, have been specifically invited to participate by Esper.io, Inc., and have received access to the IncentivePilot platform for this campaign.
Who cannot enter: Employees of Esper.io, Inc. or its related entities, their immediate family members, or anyone else connected with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
Entry Period: Closing date for entries will be Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST unless extended by the Promoter. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
How to Enter and Game Mechanics:
Sign-up: Each entrant must sign up through the IncentivePilot platform.
The Mystery: Someone has made a giant mess! But who? And where? And what was spilled? Only an ace detective like you can solve the case.
Earning Points: Complete partner sales activities (including but not limited to i.e. lead generation, opportunity creation, and booking meetings through the IncentivePilot platform) to earn points.
Collecting Clues: Points earned from completed activities unlock clues. Each clue reveals a suspect, food item, or room that was NOT involved in the crime.
Solving the Mystery: Collect all available clues to eliminate possibilities and solve the mystery by identifying the correct suspect, location, and what was spilled.
Leaderboard Competition: Participants will be ranked on a leaderboard based on points earned from completed activities.
Prize Drawing:
The top 5 participants on the final leaderboard will each receive $250 in prizes.
Final leaderboard standings will be determined on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST
In case of tied scores, winners will be determined by the earliest completion time of their final qualifying activity.
Fair Play Requirements: Participants may not create multiple accounts, use automated systems, or engage in any fraudulent activity to gain unfair advantage in the competition. Any attempt to manipulate game mechanics, collude with other participants, or circumvent the intended rules will result in immediate disqualification. Esper reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity and disqualify participants at its sole discretion.
Tax Documentation Requirements: Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) within 30 days of prize notification. Failure to provide the required tax documentation will result in forfeiture of the prize. Esper will issue IRS Form 1099-MISC to winners as required by law for prizes exceeding $600 in value. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes received.
Competition Modifications: Esper.io, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of technical difficulties, force majeure events, or any other circumstances beyond Esper's reasonable control. Any changes will be communicated to entrants as soon as reasonably possible. In the event of technical issues that prevent fair completion of activities, Esper may extend deadlines, reset progress, or restart affected activities at its discretion. Prize Limitations: Esper is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by any third party connected with this competition. Prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. Esper reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.
Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, Esper reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner.
Prize Delivery: Prizes will be delivered within 60 days of winner verification and completion of all required documentation. Esper will notify winners of delivery method and tracking information where applicable.
Final Decisions: Esper's decisions on all competition matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Acceptance of Terms: By entering this competition, participants indicate their acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Governing Law: This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Washington State law and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Washington State. This competition is void where prohibited by law.
Publicity and Privacy: Winners agree to the use of their name and image in publicity materials. Personal data will be handled in accordance with Esper's Privacy Policy.
